The aim of the Evangelism Team is to win the lost at any cost. They do this by going into communities to preach and teach John 3:16. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Given the reality that some persons are unable to come to church for varying reasons, the group often visit the shut-ins and those afraid to venture too far from home because of issues such as violence in their communities. The Evangelism team ministers to individuals and groups and often distribute tracts and pray for those ministered to.

Sometimes, the Evangelism team will host street meetings and so they will travel with speaker boxes and microphones that would allow them to reach a wide audience with ease. Not everyone might want to hear the spoken word and so members of the team are generally individuals who are tenacious.

Those who have a passion for souls are encouraged to join the evangelism team as they are given an opportunity to partner with others who have a similar zeal to go on the highways and byways to preach God’s word.
